Thermocouples THA, THC, THC, TNN from base metals and alloys are used to measure temperatures up to 1000 ° C. The advantage of these thermocouples is the relatively low cost and their ability to develop large thermal EMF.
Special cable thermoelectric thermal converters of the types are designed to measure temperatures from -50 to 1000 ° C and are mainly used in reactor thermometry. Cable thermal converters have an outer diameter from 1 to 6 mm, a length from 10 to 50 m with the number of cores 2 or 4 (one core or one pair of cores made of chromel, the other of copel or alumel).
Thermoelectric converters with the possibility of non-assembly testing are designed to measure the temperature of gaseous oxidizing and neutral media, air, inert gases that do not interact with the material of thermoelectrodes and do not destroy the material of protective fittings.
Thermal converters with a unified output signal are designed for continuous temperature measurement of liquids, steam, and gas at facilities of various industries, converting the obtained values into a unified current output signal.
